Ordinary Men Partnership
“When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.”
We believe that a gift in OM has a great return on investment. What we are experiencing through the core value of multiplication is that when you give to a group your investment is multiplied. A single group will result in as many as 8-10 new groups in the near future. These are not just numbers, these are groups of men that are walking out discipleship and making disciples. Think through the benefits of a single group in your church or community. A group of 10 individuals could easily multiply into five groups of 8-10 men each in a single year. With the same multiplication rate, by year two a local church or community will have 25 groups, representing up to 250 men!

God often puts ministries on our hearts to partner with and support, and we are hopeful that is He is doing just that with you. We can think of no greater cause to support than the pointing of individuals towards an intimate walk with Jesus Christ. Through our year-long process, we are seeing men leave ``consumerism Christianity`` behind and becoming disciples that make disciples.
Many issues in society today are a result of men failing to live out the roles to which God has called them. These issues Include broken families, fatherless and orphaned children, substance use disorders, poverty, and sexual abuse, to name a few. All of these are symptoms of a bigger issue—the issue of men not pursuing God and following His Word. We believe that an investment in OM is much more than an investment in a year-long discipleship group; we believe it is an investment in marriages, an investment in children, an investment toward the solution to many of the challenges our society faces. We believe the ultimate solution lies in an intimate relationship with Jesus, followed by a discipleship mindset—a mindset focused on reaching and discipling others in the same way.
When you invest and partner in OM you are doing much more than supporting Ordinary Men. You are changing culture, changing our society and changing the future! You are acting as an Ordinary Man or Woman and believing God wants to do the extraordinary among us, and through us, together!
OM desires to be a resource to the local Church, not a focus outside of the local Church. We believe there are several challenges that exist within many churches today to which we are called to be part of the solution. Churchgoers have in many cases become consumers, expecting Pastors to do the work of the ministry. This is the opposite of what the apostle Paul teaches in Ephesians 4:12. This lack of genuine discipleship creates a tension point for churches and requires a change in culture.
Creating a culture of discipleship is difficult and takes tremendous focus and resources. Pointing your congregation to discipleship is one part; the other is creating culture, processes, and resources for them to take the next steps. We believe that a partnership with OM is a great investment in your congregation and into your ministry.
Consumerism, lack of genuine discipleship, and a struggling men's ministry are three areas in which we are focused and excelling. We are finding that OM is changing the game in these areas. We are putting all of our resources into helping the church, so the church doesn't carry burden on staff and finances required to address these needs.
